BBEdit 4.0 Pricing Information ====== === ======= =========== (Effective 05/13/96) Where Can I Buy BBEdit? ----- --- - --- ------ BBEdit is available directly from us, and is also stocked by the following resellers: Cyberian Outpost Apple Developer Catalog Developer Depot Full Moon Software (recommended for customers in the UK) Other resellers may also carry BBEdit on a regular basis, or be able to obtain it upon request. Please note that all pricing and ordering information given here applies to orders placed directly with us. Should you require information from a particular reseller, we suggest that you contact them directly. At the present time, version upgrades or discount pricing options, including student discounts, are only available via orders placed directly with us, or with Cyberian Outpost. If you would like to place an order via the Web, we invite you to either use our on-line order form, or to visit Cyberian Outpost (see below). They are authorized by us to offer competitive and student discounts on BBEdit, and they feature a secure Web-based ordering system. Product Distribution Format [IMPORTANT] ------- ------------ ------ BBEdit is delivered on CD-ROM with online documentation (in Adobe Acrobat Reader format). A floppy disk/printed manual set is available at nominal cost for customers who do not have access to a CD-ROM drive. Please note that BBEdit is not currently available via any on-line distribution systems. This is due to resource constraints resulting from network capacity limitations and the distribution package size, as well as the restriction of current technology as related to transaction verification. As network capacity expands and suitable product delivery mechanisms become available, we will take advantage of these to extend our means of delivering products and simplify the ordering process.
